As host of The Unleashed Radio Hour, I have made the conscious decision to give back to the community in the form of The Community Star Award. The Community Star Award seeks to recognize non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations that are making a difference in the greater Houston area and beyond by working to Unleash the best in others. It’s that simple.
Inaugural Award Recipient
Positive Coaching Alliance-Houston
The Unleashed Radio Hour is proud to announce the recipient of the first ever Unleashed Radio Hour Community Star Award to be presented to the Positive Coaching Alliance-Houston chapter. Positive Coaching Alliance, or PCA, is a national non-profit developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. This is accomplished through partnerships with schools and youth organizations where live workshops, online courses, books, and e-communications have been shared since 1998, impacting over 5 million youth athletes nationwide.
PCA provides tools for coaches, parents, athletes, leaders, and officials with the goal of making a positive impact on our youth by teaching life lessons, improving oneself, teammates and the game as a whole.
The Unleashed Radio Hour recognizes the difference that PCA-Houston is making in the greater Houston Community and beyond by working to help unleash the best in others!

Each organization recognized as a Community Star Award recipient will receive the following from The Unleashed Radio Hour:
- Dedicated show sharing the story of how the star organization makes a difference in the community.
- Dedicated campaign to help raise funds during and after the show to support the overall mission of the star organization.
- Podcast of the show to help advance the mission and purpose, as well as support timely use for helping raise funds during dedicated fundraising campaign.

The goal of the fundraising campaign is to raise $10,000.00 to be used for student scholarships and workshops for students in underserved schools in the greater Houston area.
